intensive or extensive?
On an extensive roof garden you can also have low-growing sedums, and if requested, supplemented with grass and perennials. A roof garden with trees, shrubs and perennials is a good example of an intensive roof garden.
As a rule, an extensive roof garden is a lightweight and affordable solution. A green roof with vegetation blankets retains up to 50% of rain water (depends on regional differences). It is suitable for sloping conditions and it is practically maintenance-free.
Whether you select an intensive or extensive set-up, we will be happy to advice you about both options.
