Sempergreen® USA update

June 22 - Sempergreen® USA is very excited to announce their participation in the Target Center project in Minneapolis, MN. The installation of the 115,000 square foot extensive green roof will start on June 26 and is expected to take about 4 week-ends to finish.

The $5.3 million dollar roof replacement will include the largest green roof in the Mid-West and is the city's  most expensive project since it bought the arena, home of the Timberwolve's basketball team.
Main partner in this project is Stock Roofing, a Tecta America Company in conjunction with the architect, Kestrel Design Group, both located in Minneapolis MN.

Besides the Target Center project, Sempergreen® is delivering their pre-vegetated sedum mats to several project locations throughout the country on a weekly basis.

It looks like the concept of a convenient and instant gratifying sedum mat is gaining momentum with Architects, Roofers and Landscape installers in North America.

On June 3-5 Sempergreen® participated in the 2nd Annual Green Roofs for Healthy Cities conference in Atlanta, GA. With 750 visitors the show saw 25% less attendance compared to last year's show in Baltimore. However, the show was a great succes for us and we are looking forward to next year's conference held in November in Vancouver BC.
