On the slope at the Zaltbommel station in The Netherlands Sedum-mix blankets type T are used as ground cover. Both sides of the coconut fibre mat are reinforced with artificial fibre making it the perfect solution for (very) steep surfaces. A direct-green result was created by applying these vegetation mats, meanwhile making the chance of weed growth minimal. In addition, these Sedum mats provide a solid and erosion-resistant layer.
