Aldo Tognini appointed as new CFO at Sempergreen Group

Sempergreen Group has appointed Aldo Tognini as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this position, Tognini will take part in the daily management of the company and oversee the Financial, Administration and HR & Legal departments. Within Sempergreen, he has set himself the goal of accelerating the international company’s growth ambitions. 

Corné van Garderen, CEO of Sempergreen Group, is enthusiastic about the arrival of Tognini. “At Sempergreen, we’re currently working hard on an international expansion of our green roofs and living walls business. Aldo brings lots of knowledge and experience to the table, enabling him to manage the financial aspect of this exponential growth in the best way”, according to Van Garderen.  

Tognini (52), former Chief Financial & Risk Officer at Blauwtrust groep BV, has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. The combination of sustainability, ambitious goals, entrepreneurship and personal impact that this new position offers, has convinced Tognini to take the (financial) lead at Sempergreen Group.  

Together with Corné and the Sempergreen management team, Tognini is looking forward to creating a stable and scalable foundation which will perfectly support the growth ambitions.
