Sempergreen Colombia
Metroverde, now Sempergreen Colombia, was created in 2013 in response to a growing demand for plants in the Green Infrastructure industry in Colombia. It was also the idea of creating a technological solution for green roofs, through Sedum mats and other formats that contrasted with the traditional local growers. The partners deeply believe in the power of plants and how they should serve cities for environmental purposes and a better quality of life.
200 projects
Metroverde has participated in over 200 projects and more than 150,000 square meters of vegetation installed in different formats. The company has gained a unique knowledge in green infrastructure for tropical areas of the world and has participated in landmark projects. Metroverde has also become an important player in the green Infrastructure Industry through RECIVE (Colombian Green Infrastructure Network) contributing with knowledge about plants, substrates and maintenance.
Unique solution
In 2016, it was decided to explore the possibilities of joining forces with Sempergreen, closing a partnership deal by the end of the year. The shared values and a common vision for a greener world eased the negotiations and made it almost seem inevitable. It is clear that joining forces has generated an important added value and a knowledge sharing platform to create a better local product, that will become a tempting and unique solution for every player in the market.
