Plant and Maintenance Specialist

What are you going to do?
As a Plant and Maintenance Specialist, you are responsible for the appearance of the green interior and exterior walls at our customers’ premises in the Netherlands and abroad. With your expertise in and passion for plants, you ensure that the facades look their best. Your tasks will include pruning and replacing plants and carefully checking and maintaining existing facades in accordance with the work schedule. You don’t mind working at heights and are familiar with the use of aerial work platforms and scaffolding. A properly functioning irrigation system is crucial, so it’s up to you to make sure it works and adjust it where necessary!
In addition, you are proactive and contribute ideas for optimizing existing systems and implementing new ones. You apply your knowledge to refine maintenance protocols.
What are we looking for in you?
- Vocational education and training (VET) level, preferably with a background in environmental studies or construction engineering
- Good command of the Dutch language. German/English is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Europe
- In possession of a driving licence B (preferably BE)
- Service- and customer-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent and proactive
- Accurate and flexible in your work attitude
What do we have to offer you?
- Full-time employment (42 hours)
- A challenging work environment with projects throughout (Western) Europe, for which you will receive a daily allowance from us
- A salary between €2,842.81 and €3,902.47 based on salary scale G of the Open Teelten collective labour agreement, depending on age and experience
- 8.25% holiday pay and 25 days’ holiday for full-time employment
- Primary and secondary employment conditions in accordance with the Open Teelten collective labour agreement
