The living wall is a true eye-catcher that strengthens the interior concept.
Plants support fresh air, comfort and fewer health-related complaints.
The green wall perfectly reflects Tectum’s sustainable DNA.
At Tectum Group’s new headquarters, the SemperGreenwall Indoor was deliberately placed in a central location: the staff canteen. Designed by IN-LIJN Interior Architecture, the living wall forms the beating heart of the interior. Where company restaurants are often purely functional, this green feature adds warmth, movement and an inviting atmosphere. The greenery softens the space, brings balance to the interior and transforms a daily meeting place into a space where people enjoy spending time.
For Tectum Group, choosing a green wall was a natural decision. As specialists in roofs, façades and balustrades, sustainability is embedded in their daily work. The SemperGreenwall Indoor acts as a living business card, subtly expressing what Tectum stands for: forward-thinking, innovative and responsible. In a professional setting, a green wall makes an immediate impression, not loud or dominant, but refined and convincing.
A living green wall adds something truly special to a business interior. It softens sharp lines, introduces texture alongside materials like steel and concrete, and provides a natural counterbalance to screens and hard surfaces. Here, the SemperGreenwall is not decorative wallpaper, but a true design feature. It adds character, humanises the space and contributes to a high-quality, contemporary atmosphere.
Beyond aesthetics, health plays a crucial role. Plants improve indoor air quality by capturing fine particles and releasing oxygen. In indoor environments, this leads to fewer complaints such as dry eyes, headaches and fatigue. Employees experience more comfort, improved concentration and higher energy levels throughout the day. Research shows that green workplaces contribute to higher productivity and reduced absenteeism. The living wall in the canteen therefore supports not only interaction, but overall vitality.
As an indoor application, the SemperGreenwall is equipped with professional LED lighting. This lighting is tailored to the plants’ photosynthesis process, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant even without direct daylight. At the same time, the lighting enhances the visual impact of the wall, subtle and natural during the day, atmospheric and layered in the evening. This keeps both plants and interior looking their best all year round.
Behind the lush appearance lies smart technology. The SemperGreenwall Indoor is equipped with Sempergreen’s Plant Care System, which automatically regulates water and nutrients and continuously monitors plant health. For Tectum, this means maximum impact with minimal effort: a green wall that always looks its best, without placing any burden on staff.
With the SemperGreenwall Indoor, Tectum Group demonstrates how greenery, design and functionality can come together seamlessly in a professional environment. The living wall makes sustainability visible, enhances wellbeing and proves that interiors can do more than simply look good. A refined example of how green design continues to make a difference, day after day.
