Green roof

Green roof
There is often little space for greenery in urban areas. An ideal solution for this is greenery on the roof. A green roof is not only appealing to look at, it also offers many other advantages, such as water buffering, temperature regulation, sound insulation, air purification and it also encourages biodiversity. It's not just a Sedum roof that can be attractive, have you considered herbs on your roof, or vegetation specially selected to attract bees and butterflies? We are happy to advise you about the best application for your project.

Green roof for:

System structures

  • Flat roof 0-5°

Shallow pitched roof 5-25°

Shallow pitched roof 5-25°

The structure of a shallow pitched green roof differs slightly from the structure of a flat roof. Because water runs off the roof more quickly, a thicker substrate layer is needed. The substrate gives the correct dose of nutrition to the plants and so ensures your green roof is indeed green.
